Hello everyone!
My name is Itzel Zapata-Oropesa. I am 22 years old. I was born in Mérida, Yucatan, Mexico, I moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada when I was two years old. Shortly after my sister Gemma was born there. We lived in Canada for about two years before arriving in Portland, Oregon, USA on October 31st, 2001. We resided there for about 3 years before finally making our way down to the sunny (and very humid) city of Tampa, Fl. There is where the rest (three more) of my siblings were born.
Now many years down the line , I am on the path of pursuing an Associates in Liberal Arts at Hillsborough Community College, while being a part of the Honors institute on campus. After I graduate from HCC I plan on attending University of South Florida to pursue a Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences. In hopes to one day become a pharmacist.
I love the to spend time by the ocean. I find a sense of serenity feeling the sand under my toes, and hearing the waves crashing against the shoreline. I love to spend down time outdoors, exploring new places and things.
